Billy & The Fingers 6th album “Goodbye Chesterfield Road” is now available. The title is a tribute to the street it was recorded in as lead singer Neil has now moved from there to a new house. The cover features England’s (and indeed World’s) former oldest man, Henry Allingham, who was also a one time resident of Chesterfield Road.
Goodbye Chesterfield Road features the usual Fingers eclecticism from Dr John inspired jazzisms, to Bowie-esque torch songs and Tom Petty style rockers. Album 7 is already well under way and will be available in a couple of months.
